Earthkeepers: Observers and Protectors of Nature (Oxford Profiles)
Published in Hardcover by Oxford Univ Pr Childrens Books (February, 1994)
Average review score:

FabulousKids love to learn and will show you that is true when you provide them with terrific educational materials and experiences. This book is terrific. My children were given a picture of the human side of these pioneers as well as a picture of their bright, heroic minds and spirits. We were all enchanted. Each profile was simply a "good read".

Emerging Women: The Widening Stream
Published in Paperback by Hay House (April, 1997)
Average review score:

I found this book to be inspiring and empowering. The authors have done an excellent job of pulling together short biographies of dynamic women (some famous and some awaiting discovery) who have dared to step out of their comfort zones to help others in new and caring ways. A collection of interviews of women who are speaking out and changing the world in areas historically reserved for men, this book reveals the heart-centered nature of the contributors. If you are a woman, this book is a must-read. I savored each and every story, and was truly sad when I got to the last biography. At the same time, I felt my hidden potential as a human being awaken, and came away with feelings of empowerment and a sense of personal duty to raise myself even higher than I previously thought possible.

An excellent book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This book is about Nancy being framed for something she really didn't do. This is very frustrating, and time's running out, so Nancy better find the real criminal before the police arrest her for something she didn't do!

Fatal Attraction (Nancy Drew Files, No 22)
Published in Paperback by Simon Pulse (April, 1988)
Average review score:

Great, varies from usual storyline!I love all the Nancy Drew Files books, but this is one of the most memorable! It really varied from the usual storyline that the NDF stories have:you know, crime committed, Nancy investigates, mulitiple suspects, suspensful ending. Instead, Nancy had a hand full of problems, one of which is dealing with Brenda, the jealous girlfriend of the suspect and Nancy's rival. Plus the crime is quite a bit more dark and sordid than usual. A great read, and very surprising! :)

Four Major Plays of Chikamatsu
Published in Paperback by Columbia University Press (15 April, 1997)
Average review score:

Chikamatsu at his best! This book is perfect for anyone with an interest in theatre. It's a great introduction to the works of Chikamatsu, and provides four of his best works. The translating is excellent (Donald Keene is undisputedly *the* expert on Japanese translation) and the works are accessible. I was skeptical before I read it, but now I'm a big fan of Chikamatsu. Give it a try!
